Children’s Ministry
Overview
We offer Children's Church (3yrs - grade 5) and nursery care (Infant - 2yrs) during 9:00am Sunday School and the 10:15am Worship service.
It is our goal to help children know and experience God through the loving message of Jesus and the stories from the Bible. Providing a safe and nurturing environment for all our children from infancy through 5th Grade is of utmost importance.
Sunday Morning Children’s Church & Nursery
Infants (0-2 Years)
The FBCSJ Nursery provides loving care for infants and toddlers (birth–24 months) on Sunday mornings. Parents will find the nursery a safe and welcoming place for their young children to be while they attend worship.
Preschool & Elementary (3yrs -5th Grade)
The Sunday morning children's ministry of FBCSJ is focused on assisting parents in training up a child in the things of God. Preschool (ages 3-4) and Elementary children (Kindergarten-5th grade) learn God's Word through music and worship, Bible lessons and age-appropriate games and activities.

What time do I bring my child to class?
Children's Church and nursery care are during 9:00am Sunday School and the 10:15am Worship service. Children's Church kids start off in worship with their parents to enjoy singing with the church family, then leave to Children’s Church right after the offering. Children may also stay in the main sanctuary with their parents. Nursery care is offered during both worship and the service.
How do I check in and drop off my child?
Parents, please check in your child at their classroom in the West Hallway. Greeters can assist you to help find the classroom, if needed.
What security measures are in place?
Nursery children receive a unique security tag each time they are checked in.
Parents receive a matching tag with the child's security number to show at pick-up.
We will use a parent’s mobile phone number to notify you by text if needed in the nursery.
