The purpose of our CARE Ministry is to intentionally minister God’s love to the elderly and handicapped. CARE also exists to minister to those who are the most underprivileged among our afflicted and in locations where no one else will go. Every week CARE Ministry serves at Bradley Gardens on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. We bring “church” to those who cannot attend Sunday worship. The time outlay for this ministry is about 45 minutes per week. We promise you will receive more than you give in this ministry. Please contact Jim Dunlap if you would like to visit or participate in this wonderful ministry.
“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction….” James 1:27
CARE Ministry
VBS, also known as Vacation Church School, is a weekday program of Christian education for children. It takes place during the summer vacation. VBS is the ideal ministry vehicle for introducing children to Jesus—and it’s so much fun! From the music to the crafts, to the teaching, Jesus becomes more than a character in a Bible story. Children get to see how real the Bible truly is and how God’s Word applies to them. Vacation Bible School offers children opportunities for salvation too.
Here are the key features of VBS:
Religious Study Courses: VBS includes educational sessions where children learn about Christian beliefs, Bible stories, and principles.
Arts and Crafts: Participants engage in creative activities such as arts and crafts, which often relate to the themes or stories from the Bible.
Recreation: VBS incorporates recreational activities to make learning enjoyable. These activities can include games, sports, and other fun experiences.
The program runs for one week, providing an opportunity for children to deepen their faith, build community, and have a memorable summer experience. It’s a wonderful way for kids to connect with their faith and enjoy fellowship with others in a relaxed and engaging environmen
